Jakob Limmer

Jakob Limmer, born in 1988 in Bamberg. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig from 2016 to 2020, where he focused on media art under the guidance of Prof. Joachim Blank, particularly in the fields of installation and space.

In his work, the boundary becomes deftly blurred between the anticipation and the challenge, inviting viewers into a world – where experimentation flourishes and ideas go beyond mere contemplation and manifest themselves tangibly in the physical realm. At the intersection of questioning authority and power, the artist focuses on exploring the hidden. Positioned at the interface of rebellion and curiosity, Limmer’s works surprise and encourage viewers to venture into the unexplored territories of the mind.
